At the Tahiti your eyes are drawn upward by the fish swimming about above your head. Above the bar is a large fish tank, an inverted dome hanging from the ceiling containing a couple of large goldfish. The locals appreciate it a lot, as this is the only part of the long bar with no bar stools beside it.
Other than the seats at the bar, there are a few open booths inside, but the majority of the seating is outside on the promenade. There is no Tiki ambiente at all and Tahiti’s extensive range of cocktails are not particularly fine, or vary in any way from those on offer in any of the other spanisch bars, but they are served in Pavon Tikimugs.
